BARI (Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute) is the largest multi-crop research institute conducting research on a wide variety of crops. Such as cereals, tubers, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, fruits, spices, flowers, etc. Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Besides variety development, this institute carries out research on such areas as soil and crop management. Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) disease and insect management, water management and irrigation, development of farm machinery, improvement of cropping and farming system management.

The director general is the chief executive of the organization. Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) the Director-General performed his work through three wings, namely, the research wing, service and supply and through three directors of training and communication wing.
