Apart from this, the bank has been able to maintain the rate of classified loans at a tolerable level, which is 3.18% and there is no provision deficiency against these classified loans. Although profit-making is not the primary objective of the bank, the bank has been able to make a profit every year since its inception due to continued cash collection of loans through controlled expenditure and close supervision. In the current fiscal year 2022-2023, the bank has earned an operating profit of Tk 38.17 crore.

The Bank has paid a total of Tk 120.40 Crores till 31.12.2022 towards Income Tax to the Government Treasury. The financial position of the bank is strong and reserves have been maintained every year for the purpose of repayment of liabilities. The amount of this reserve is 120.96 crore taka.

As of 31.12.2022, the bank’s manpower is 1824 people. The main driving force of every organization is its skilled workforce. Employment Bank has 1 training institute for manpower skilling.
